The school council is made up of 12 pupils from across all year groups who meet regular to discuss safeguarding and welfare issues that affect them.
It is important to us at Penketh High school that the voice of our pupils is heard.
Most importantly it is vital we act with what they are telling us about keeping safe so that we work collaboratively to create a caring and robust school community in all areas of safeguarding.
The school council will meet weekly at enrichment time and there will be a meeting every half term with the DSL and welfare team.
