Fantastic to see Mr Barlow running through the formative assessment activities geography have set for pupils to undertake at home through Teams!

Checking pupil understanding is so important and our remote offer has added a new dimension to our practice!

Strong leadership & teaching at @PenkethSchool that benefits our learners - good luck! https://twitter.com/warringtonworld/status/1330108320372416512

Year 7 @PenkethSchool it has been so lovely to have you all over for your first @SparkPenketh sessions😊 I'm so excited for your final builds what an amazing creative innovative year group. Blown awayπŸ‘πŸ‘

Wonderful to be across the school this afternoon, absolute joy to see pupils engaged in learning and working hard.

Fantastic vocabulary from 8A4 in English with @credmond25 and the whole of Year 10 focused whilst sitting mock papers in Maths! Well done all πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Year 7 geographers here @PenkethSchool benefiting from a great pre-recorded lesson from Miss Robinson while Miss Robinson is out accessing external CPD today. Creative
use of technology to help support learning will be one positive legacy of the Pandemic in schools

Really enjoyed dropping into Mr Billington’s art lesson today, where he was skilfully modelling to pupils using worked examples πŸ‘

Our 3 drivers behind moving towards booklets centre on 1. Working memory 2. Efficient use of time 3. Reading. The key sits in a well planned curriculum being enacted through carefully structured booklets.

A really enjoyable session this afternoon. Developing our understanding of how teachers can direct student attention to maximise learning in the classroom. @PenkethTeaching

Few snippets from around school today. Ms Jenkins making use of pre-recorded modelled videos in art to demonstrate. Miss Robinson modelling worked examples using β€˜we do’ in geography. Great teaching!
