Throughout the year the transition team will visit students in their primary schools so that the students have a friendly face for when they start their exciting journey to high school. Also throughout the year primary school students are able to come in to Penketh to a range of exciting events that we have to offer – from SPARK activities to primary sports festivals!

Some of our key dates are as follows –

September – Open evening- following a presentation from our principle Mr Carlin, year 6 students and their families are able to visit the different departments in school and see what we have to offer.

Tour week – Parents/carers are invited in for a tour of the school to see Penketh High School in action on a normal school day.

November – Year 7 settling in evening – parents/carers have the opportunity to come in to school to meet with form tutors.

1st March 2019 – National Offer Day. Offers are sent out to Warrington parents/carers.

June – year 5 primary taster days – We open our doors to the year 5 students for special ‘taster’ sessions so that year 5 students can start to get a ‘feel’ for high school and see some of the exciting things that go on at Penketh.
